Clubs

After-school clubs are designed to offer children a range of enriching experiences beyond the standard school day. These clubs give pupils the opportunity to explore new interests, develop important skills, and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Whether it’s through sports, music, art, STEM, or other areas, we aim to provide something that inspires every child.

It’s important to note that our after-school clubs are not intended to serve as childcare. While we understand that extended hours may be helpful to some families, the primary goal of these sessions is educational, fun and developmental. We want each club to be purposeful, engaging, and focused on giving children the chance to grow and thrive outside of the classroom. Our clubs try to provide a springboard for children to perhaps join other local activities away from school where they can meet new friends and not be afraid to try new experiences.

Some of our clubs support the school teams as it is very difficult to find time within the school day. School teams are picked on merit and although we would love to take every child to a competition it is simply not possible.

We would also like to highlight that most of our clubs are run voluntarily by members of our school staff, who generously give their time to offer these experiences. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment and passion in helping to enrich school life for our pupils.

Please see below for an example of what we have offered our children this academic year.
