PTFA
Welcome to Newlaithes Junior School Parent, Teacher and Friends association.
The wonderful work of our PTFA spreads through the school throughout the year and supports every child. Our PTFA is vital to supporting the school and giving it that little bit extra. If you would like to be involved in the PTFA, please contact the school office who will be delighted to help you.When your child joins our school, parents and carers automatically have membership to out PTFA! You can give as little or as much of your time as possible at our various events.
What does the PTFA do?
Newlaithes Junior PTFA arrange fun events to raise funds for “extras” in the school. It is about making school even better!
We have various events throughout the school year and PTFA members meet to organise these.
Our events have included:
- Chocolate Bingo nights- twice a year
- Various discos throughout the year
- Film club
- Book sales
Plus, more!
We are using funds raised this year to get more books for our library and have provided costumes for class productions. We are also looking forward to getting some new benches and furniture for our outdoor areas.
Being part of the PTFA doesn’t mean you have to donate money; it can be offering your time for events whenever you are able to! If you want to get involved with the PTFA please contact the school and one of the PTFA members will be in touch.
